Accent Québec is a bilingual directory of recreational, cultural and educational resources in French.
Accent Québec is designed to support French as a second language teachers, parents and learners of all ages to enhance the French learning experience in and out of the classroom.
Accent Québec encourages anyone looking for ways to connect with Francophone culture and community to explore our resources.
Our History
This one-stop site was originally created by a group of partners in Quebec: Leading English Education and Resource Network (LEARN), Lester B. Pearson School Board (LBPSB), Canadian Parents for French Québec & Nunavut (CPF QC&NU), Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages (OCOL) and John Abbott College (JAC). It was a joint effort to connect English-speaking youth of Quebec with opportunities to genuinely interact and learn from the Francophone Quebec society in which they live.
